Dive Site Rating
Whilst browsing through our dive descriptions, you will notice that we have categorised all our dive sites by "Ease of Dive." We have based this on a number of different criteria to help you select your preferred dive sites.
These include: Depth of dive site; Type of dive site; Access to site & Your training to date. A one diver rating means that the site is open to all levels of diver, going up to five divers meaning the the dive is for the more experienced diver.
Dive Sites
Lantern Point
Ease Of Dive 
This dive site is one of the most popular dive on Comino. It caters for the less experienced and the experienced alike. From the thrill of parachuting down the chimney entrance to looking up from the bottom of the wall and seeing big shoals of Barracuda which frequent the site. You can also see colourful sponges in the caves and swim through. Moray eels, large Scorpion Fish and Grouper are often seen at the deeper sections of this site. Look for Octopus and Lobster in the small holes and cracks in the wall. This is one dive site not to be missed.
Inner Lantern Point
Ease Of Dive
This is the baby brother to Lantern Point. The site is suitable for all levels of diver. The site has a number of different routes, and the dive guides select the best route to suit the group. There are a number of swim throughs at different depths. There is also a large overhang to explore. The occasional Grouper can be seen here also but care must be taken not to startle these fish as they can be a little shy. As well as the usual fish, Amber Jacks and Guilt Head Bream can also be seen out in the blue at the deeper sections of the site.
Crystal Lagoon
Ease Of Dive
Crystal lagoon is a popular second dive and is suitable for all levels of diver. The lagoon itself is a nursery for young fish and young Barracuda can often be seen during mid season. Look on the sandy area for Mediterranean Flounder and Flying Gurnards. Also look for Octopus around the large boulders close to the swim through the entrance.
Alex's Cave
Ease Of Dive
Alex’s cave is suitable for all levels of di ver and is one of our Comino second dives. It has a very nice swim through and superb internal cave. Octopus are regularly seen here as well as the rare Pearly Razor Fish on the sandy areas. Moray Eels and the occasional Conga Eel can be found under the boulders in the entrance to the cave.
Inner Cominoto
Ease Of Dive
Inner Cominoto is a relaxed easy dive, it is ideal for check dives and training dives. For the more experienced it is possible to get some depth and explore the boulders in the deeper sections. And of course all of the usual flora and fauna can be found here.
