PADI Rescue Diver Course

If you are ready to enrol in the PADI Rescue Diver Course it is time for yourself to start taking care of not just you in the water, but of your fellow divers.  Through this course you will practice and master, through a number of skills and scenarios, the vital steps of rescuing a diver in distress.  This course can be completed in as little as 3 days. (min age 12). Everyone who has ever certified as a PADI Rescue Diver will tell you this is the course (at a non-professional level) where you will learn the most and have the most fun!

Pre-requisites: PADI Adventure Diver with Underwater Adventure dive.

SS Margit

Ease Of Dive Dive Ease 2 Scuba Diving Malta H2o Divers

The SS Margit was an old steam-freighter that sank in the course of a bombing attack on April 4, 1942 at Karkara creek, off Grand Harbour (La Valletta). The wreck was discovered in the late Seventies.  The hull is in poor condition because it was devastated by the explosions, (the bow and the propellers are missing), and lies on its port side. The wreck covers a large area and is difficult to find in poor visibility without local knowledge.  It is recommended that no diver penetrate the wreck unless proper equipment including reels are used.

Due to the visibility here it is not recommended for the newly certified diver.
